loganberry Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 did justin ever have a dc power 270? or what are you comparing the db linc too? im confused My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
zfrerichs Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Lmao no db linc vs load boss The load boss is what was in justins truck before him and Kasey switched alts Roseville, CA
loganberry Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 what size was the load boss, 300? and your saying the db holds his voltage better than the load boss? because when i heard it his voltage was just fine on those 930708125087 2400's he had the db linc dosnt even hold kasey's voltage that high, on 1 t1k on 2 batteries My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
thehoe92 Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 what size was the load boss, 300? and your saying the db holds his voltage better than the load boss? because when i heard it his voltage was just fine on those 930708125087 2400's he hadthe db linc dosnt even hold kasey's voltage that high, on 1 t1k on 2 batteries load boss was 300 and the db linc was 300 even trade the only thing that would change is at idle maybe the db linc does more at idle but they are both 300 the db linc doesn't "hold" his voltage better because he has nothing to put a load on it with. obviously the load boss will hold the voltage he had 7 HC2400's and I already said the battery isolator killed my kinetik's voltage in the back. theres lots of variables that fucked me over Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
zfrerichs Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 when the load boss was in there with nothing but a 4 channel and a single 2400 voltage would sit at 14.9 same stuff in the truck with the db linc alt @idle sits at 15.3 with no adjustments to the voltage meter Roseville, CA
thehoe92 Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 so here is my way of wiring up '03+ Tahoe rear doors you've got the plug aka the problem just big enough to snap in to the door frame so that means no running after market speaker wire and not really any room in the plug for 12 gauge connections but there is room if just the black clips are connected since they are smaller than the actual plug the pins that need to be pulled out notice the tabs... bent them over so some heat shrink would slip over each pin heat shrunk so nothing can short or ground out silicone lube and duct tape is your friend for pushing wires through grommets black plugs all wired up not exactly water proof but I'll be thinking of a solution soon the boot was only meant to wrap around the white plug not fit in between the door frame Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
thehoe92 Posted October 23, 2009 Author Report Posted October 23, 2009 RCA's, speaker wire, and Rockford Fosgate bass knob waiting for a home kinda messy but I still need to mount the crossovers so it will get cleaned up Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
maniac74 Posted October 23, 2009 Report Posted October 23, 2009 hey kasey the plugs you modified in the rear ,if you check at lowes there is a wire splice kit made for underground wire repairs that would slip right over the repairs and after they are shrunk they have a sealer that seeps out of the ends to seal to make it totally waterproof. just an idea for it. 99 suburban 20" boss motorsport wheels big 3 installed (thanks Iraggi) alpine 9886 deck kenwood 11 band eq fosgate t5002 amp running sub kenwood ps200 amp running components jl xr components in front doors jl xr 6.5 in rear doors jl in rear roof 1 FI Q 18" with bp enclosure 8 cubes 138 sq" port 34hz Iraggi 220 ho alt (RF 1500bd coming soon)
