it looks like the small heat shrink tubes you would use on smaller wires, its just larger you would have to cut it off to unplug it.and one sec i;ll try to find it.

this is exactly what it is, you could probably cut the tube in half or smaller and shrink it to the plug so you could unplug with no problem. sorry for multiple post just trying to help you out.

I'll check it out maybe try it I'm not too worried about the whole water proof thing the only thing that worries me is how easy it is for those little pins to become disconnected but it shouldn't be a problem if its just left alone in the grommet the door puts no tension on them as it is

ah ok,if you cut the tubes small enough to cover the wires and srink to the plug it would make it impossible for the pins to disconnect. just an idea for ya.

I appreciate it :good:

at least its something to try.

as for tests now that I have my voltage meter...

14.1 at idle

14.0 when crusin

won't drop below 13.2 when cruisin stays in the upper 13's mostly

at idle I have seen a few 11's before but barely ever just mid to lower 12's

I was supposed to get my DC Power 270sp today but I'm guessing FedEx got lost.

happened before when I got my amp and subs around christmas since my house wasn't on any maps at the time since its a new development.

but the new video will come when I get the alt its a comparison test :)

just a bit of progress on some crossover mounts.

I want to wrap it in suede but I need to wait until I get some more so I painted them to match my grills

kind of crazy to think that december of last year this is what my car almost used to look like...

of course my tahoe is charcoal and that one is black and my rims were different but the point is it was STOCK!

I'm trying to find a picture of when I first got it but I don't think I or my parents ever took one.

oh and I'm all finished wiring up the crossovers I just haven't taken any pictures yet.

it looks really clean IMO :good:
