She like blowen the guys out of the water. 2000 Lincoln Town Car old system - 3 JL audio 10's and Focal new system - 6 Kicker CVX 10's and Focal in progress Oh and killer job oh don't get me wrong here she loves it loud just not all the time. she figured she can sit in my car if she wants more. tho my current car is nothing compared to what i have had and built for other over the years. but she wants to be just as good as me in the sense the reason i ditched the alpine amp is because she wanted a "zapco amp like me". seems one of my cars has 2 in it and the other is getting 3. i want to upgrade the 8's at some point. rigth now the gain on the amp is all the way down and its pushed those things. so an upgrade is in the future. neuspeedescort Posted February 12, 2009 Author Report Posted February 12, 2009 lol... very nice... didn't expect that... how did you make the enclosure stick the the panel ? well the tail light access covers are behind the amp rack and box. so i removed the cover since its not really needed anymore. the amp side has a bracket that goes on the back of the pod. that then pressure fits it to the interior plastics by tightening up a bolt. its a leverage system. since i rebuilt the floor so it was openable where the stock plastic cover wouldn't have been (hence the seems in the carpet on both sides) i sunk 2 screws in the bottom to secure it solidly. the box side i did the same on the floor mount but then on the top mounts i removed the little hatch tight downs that are under the window and above the taillight cover. drilled holes in back of the box big enough for my bolt and a little error room. then when i put my bolts thru i siliconed the washers so it would leak. its in there pretty good. plus the spare tire is fully accessable.
