littleitaly1990 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I have the same amp, for me personally, running it at 2 ohms, it goes into protect when I play it at high power for a while, or once in a while a "loud" song will send it into protect until I lower the volume a little. It is under my seat and does get stinky when playing full tilt for a while, but always faithfully goes into thermal protect. The other times though, I think it is from clipped music which is why it also sounds louder than most songs. But I don't know. What does clipped music do to an amp?
