ChevyBoy
ok will a equalizer be good for my set up since my receiver doesnt have one? maybe a Boss AVA-1202 7-Band Equalizer. nothing too pricey. um... i guess it wouldn't hurt... boss isn't know to make good quality stuff... look for audiobahn EQ or soundstream ones.. audiobahn isnt that much of a step up from boss. Remote goes from the remote wire that connects to your deck to the remote on the amp. Theres a way to hook up a relay for this, but I'm not sure how honestly, anyone wanna tell me how that works? And then just ground from the ground on the amp to the chassis ground. I used the word amp throughout that, but its the same for any line driver, etc. A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

sean 371
power to relay ground the relay remote input remote output Thanks. And why cant you just run a remote wire in parallel from amp to amp? ChevyBoy
doing this will put too much stress on the one remote wire. itll eventually fry the remote output of the head unit. max i would do without a relay, is 2 amps connected together. KickerChris
lol i only got one amp but 2 amps would be nice. another question though. if my receiver only has 1 rca out and i want to upgrade my speakers and run those to another amp do I need a line processor or a y adapter? 2 Kicker C12's Kicker ZX400.1 Ported Box 2004 Saturn Vue http://www.myspace.com/theman7777
