(2) Aa Avalanche 15's - D2 Coils

Recommended Posts

I had five of these and I have already sold three.

$250 shipped (outside 48 states will be $220+ shipping) each.

In the pic there was something dirty on one of the cones, but it cleaned off and that one has actually already sold.

these make great car or home subs. I am selling them to build an IB setup in my new HT.

no they don't make these any more. they are great sq subs though. i used to have a pair and i loved them. fed em 1000+ clean watts.

go to realmofexcursion.com and go to the ascendant audio section. its filled with videos of this speaker. in my opinion its they're best speaker they ever made. well until that SMD sub comes out.

They are different than any of the drivers currently made by AA or Fi. They have XBL^2 motors. They are more like an Adire Brahma (from what I understand the softparts between the AVA and the Brahma are the same) or a slightly scaled down version of the Tumult (motor parts are similar with the AVA having a single slug vs. 2 for the Tumult).

I used 4 of them in my HT. With the low Fs and long excursion, they were awesome! Really never thought I would sell them, but I am going to try (8) of the Fi 22" IB3's in a wall mounted IB for the next HT setup.
