maximas are easy compared to ingtera's ;)

how did you guys take yours off?

i jacked the car up

remove the front passenger tire

remove the radiator fans

disconnect the negative on battery

dropped the A/C

loose the belt

drop the alternator

Didn't jack up the car, just slid under the front.

Removed splash guards

Removed Belt

Removed A/C (4 bolts)

Removed Alternator, had to wiggle it down between the ac (while pushing it out of the way) and the lower radiator hose. It took a while, but it came out.

Reverse the procedure to put it in.

Not complicated, just a pain in the a$$.

be careful with that wire on the radiator. dont wanna have it heat up. looks good so far though

H'mmm, let me see what I can find to shim under it. There is enough room above the wire, maybe I can lift it up off the radiator a little.

I started on the sub enclosure today. I only had a couple of hours to work on it so I got the bottom and back done.

My other new saw.

My work area with my dirty ass car in the background. Man I need to wash and wax that thing.

The sun was really beating down today, freaking 85 degrees today. It was hard to get a good picture since the birch was really reflecting the light.

Thats probably going to be it until Monday. My daughters 4th birthday is tomorrow and I have stuff to do all weekend, so I'll get back on it after the weekend.
