Nightshade Posted July 16, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 Okay I guess I'll share with you what I got. These specs were measured using a Craftsman multimeter. It is not a true rms meter so the numbers are going to be a bit higher than what they would if I would have used a Fluke or another meter that is a true rms meter. Tested at 43hz Voltage: 62.2 volts Current: 37.4 amps Power= 2326 watts (Not too bad for a 2000 watt amp at 1.6 ohms!) Nominal impedence: .5 ohms Reactive impedence: 1.66 ohms Like I said the numbers will be a bit lower on a true rms meter, but this is a good first test in a real world system. I haven't measured on music since it would be very hard to get power on my meter. I'll have to have Jacob use his meter to get music power. Hopefully if it does that then my spl box that I'm going to be testing here soon will do a 153+. That's the dual 15 box that I'm hoping for a 153 out of and I have my single 15 box that I'm hoping for a 153+ out of as well. I think that it's possible with either of these boxes.
