Need A Alternative For My Optima.

Recommended Posts

OK. I got 2 optima 34/78 redtops (800cca each). One for my main starting battery and the other in my trunk. That setup was ok for my previous install, but now i have to feed a Sundown 3000d. So I need to upgrade my trunk battery. Space is a factor. I could barley fit the one optima in my trunk. So what other battery is out there that is more powerful than my current optima but is not bigger?

Red tops are pretty bad for audio uses, almost anything you get will be an upgrade. I would do a yellow top under the hood and whatever size Powermaster or Kinetik you can fit in the back.
