Torres
i've shipped 2 18" solo x's, and 4 15" btls. i used MDF for the base and the top, then used 2x4's on the corners right up to the edge of the basket to keep the sub from flippin around. couple of screws will hold it in place. used styrofoam around the edge of the top of the gasket to hold it down and to prevent the top piece from pushing down on the surround. it takes a lil while, but best to do it right the first time either way you look at it, the sub is heave as hell (at least mine were) so a few more pounds in wood didnt matter all THAT much. do what ya gotta do Edited February 28, 2009 by ExpoSport
andywmu
I'm still interested in dwrights box. It has to be shipped from MI to TX, fun fun. Sub box/amp/wiring/fuse/sub.... gonna be a hefty bill. I priced it out by weight on ups, and it was 114. How do you guys think i should pack the box? I was gonna toss the amp/wiring/fuse inside the sub box tape it down good, then cardboard the hell and tape the hell out of the box Quote 15" Fi BL Ported 4.0 cu ft.
