Well i just bought 2 12in re sr subs with a sealed box with 4 gage wire. And using a kicker 650x4 channel amp. I have it in a ford ranger ext cab. But looking to get more db i have hit around 100 db looking to go higher. Any suggestion, thought about 4 12in subs or just up gradeing to 2 12in re se subs.

I don't understand. You want to do four twelves, but for a dual twelves ported enclosure you can't keep your back seats in?

Uh ok. :01nocomment8so:

Might I suggest trying to do it yourself? Even unexperienced, if you take you're time you can do it right and be hellar proud of what you've done. Learning from experience is the best way. Plus.. it'll save you a good chunk of change.

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.

ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

wait why would you need to take out the seats if you wanted a ported box?

Would the seats have to come out or not.

If you insist on using your shop, just tell them to take the seats out and build a false floor on top of the brackets, carpet it with a fabric of your choice, then build a ported box on top.

Hell you could even put a couple pieces of plexi on the false floor and have your amps underneath it. Neons, LEDs, speakers in the floor etc...

There's so many things you can do, they obviously have no experience with custom installs. And building a box is NOT a custom install. It'll only look like shit if they install it like shit.

Need an install? Hit me up.
