bumonskateboard6
I'm currently running 2k RMS, did the Big 3, and haven't really had any voltage problems till today. I was driving around to get gas when I noticed my low fuel light dimming when the subs hit, I have a cap in the back mostly for watching voltage cause I had one laying around, and volts are dropping to 11.7-12 area. Time for a second battery? And if so what do you recommend in the 250-300 dollar price range? Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

bumonskateboard6
Alright, I'll check everything tomorrow morning to make sure nothing's gone bad in the past few months. Aside from that I do feel like getting a second battery for the trunk just to help stop any voltage drop and keep it holding Kinetik HC1800's right in my price range, will it be enough? The enD
I know that the batts must be the same. If one is bigger than the other, the smaller one will be recharging the big one. Or something like that. Their amps and using time must be the same. If you get a new one with one used for a year, it isn't going to be good. And check the alternator. If it can charge properly your batteries will die eventualy. I am new but think I got it right.
bumonskateboard6
Not entirely true about the batts only charging each other, alternator and everything's working fine. This morning I went through every connection with the car on, and no music on and everything's reading 14.4, so I'm guessing I'm just drawing more power than my battery up front's putting out so I'm probably going to get a HC1800 or HC2000 Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...
