Forevrbumpn Posted March 8, 2009 Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 the cone and coil is at the shop. im at home.tinsel leads didnt snap, i cut them loose today when i took the cone and coil out. or at least they wasnt snapped where i coukd see. yea both was 140 ohms. no n ot 1.4 lol. heres another important thing, Did you test the impedance AT the terminals ON the sub? As in open the terminal, and slide the DMM tip in etc etc? I know I have had a screwed up reading like that once before, and it ended up being a bad test lead on the actual DMM- which does happen when you step, or pull to hard on the leads Same can be for the speaker wire, if you tested on the box, not the speaker itself Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
