JaeV88 Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Im looking to upgrade my system...right now i got 2 mtx 5500 beat to all hell and a 800w alpine amp and 400.1 rf amp for mids and highs, and a red top optima in the front...4 gauge all around i want to upgrade to 2 12" RE SX or DC but i dont know prices, in a pro box (cause i dont have utinsles to make my own box)...i want to upgrade to rf amp maybe the 1500.1, i just wanted to know what i should do power wise. i want to upgrade the red optima to a yellow and possible another battery in the back... any suggestions would be helpful, or if the setup is bad what would be better thanks

JaeV88 Posted March 11, 2009 Author Report Posted March 11, 2009 thanks for the fast reply yea i was wanting a new alt. but the money is tough to come by. so is there a cheaper amp out there that would be a better fit for the DC lvl 4 xl? i am liking the sundown amps, but if there is another brand better...im new to car audio so im still kinda stuck on brands like alpine, mtx, jl but i know there is better out there... oh and imma be upgrading all the wire to 0 gauge and i have been told i need a big 3 so i need to work up the courage to do it...lol

JaeV88 Posted March 11, 2009 Author Report Posted March 11, 2009 yea i was wanting 2 and imma look into that amp thanks for the suggestion...now i have a 80 amp alternater under the hood and a 100 amp fuse from the battery to the amps what should i upgrade that to when i do that big 3 im looking to do it tomorrow or this weekend...i know i should have 0 gauge wire but fuse wise what do i need?
