Jensen Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 My freind has a sx1250.1 he is running it at 1ohm, and after about 6months the amp quit working... I guess they replaced a couple resistors and it worked for about 20 seconds and then started smoking. He is now running a RF 2000 not sure on the model but it seems to be fine. Any ideas on why this amp burnt out????

Bunker Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Cant tell you much on the amp as I fry many myself but the cost to fix the amp wont cost much, if its still under warranty I would send it back if not check to see what fried in the amp and replace, if it burnt or melted the board then theirs not much you can do. Beanz Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 where did you get your amp fixed at? That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
