There is no way this amp can take 0 gauge unless you strip wires off the end where you took off the jacket. 4 gauge to this runs it just fine. Trust me :D

Exactly what Kyle Cannon said. 0 gauge will not fit unless you trim some threads off the wire.

I'm using 4gauge power/ground on this amp

its 4 ga at the connector even if you strip some of the wire it will only fit 4ga rubber jacket. I run 1/0 as close to the amp and then used a high quality dist. block. The 1500 draws about 180 amps when your beating on it at 1ohm. thats with around 75% efficiency.

Just use a reducer if you want to run 1/0 guage to it.
