Do you think i could some how throw an aero port in there to get some more area? One issue is you are breaking the 8:1 rule... at 16 wide you should be no smaller than 2 tall Quote 2007 Great Wall So Cool 4-12' RE audio MX's Stetsom 7k2D 6-Batts 3-Mechman 250 amp Rhino's
JRsmoothee
here is a pic of my box, i used to have my RE SE 12 in there and it sounded beautiful. but as you can tell i never really thought about port area when i ordered my DC. Obviously the port area is way too small......do you guys agree??
CR Boom
Due the math,, 13 X 1.25 = 16.25 enough for only 1 cubic foot. I would cut you port out to 2.5 wide. and then tune ..... JRsmoothee
i was thinkin cover vent opening with piece of mdf and adding aero ports ( seems easier)........but the dimensions of the box are preventing me from doing that because the ports would be too long. But i like your idea better, but dont know if it would be easy to accomplish Edited March 19, 2009 by JRsmoothee
