steveyblack Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 ok on my comp im using these shitty speakers...im thinking about using a simple 12 inch sub in a sealed box...like a type R or somthing...and for the amp can i use my computer power suply...its 12v ...and for the rca's is there any adapters to change my audio card jack(single headphone like jack) into rca's??.. if there is any sites that cover this wanna link it over and ill take a look... thanks steveyblack Quote =] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pstone11 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 you can get that adapter anywhere for maybe 2-3 bucks, radio shack is the best bet - I have my computer in the garage hooked up to my 5.1 reciever and it sounds good.. sean 371 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 I dunno if a stock power supply can handle an amp on it...I tried running dual video cards and it kept shutting down on me, so I doubt an amp will work. Exterior power ftw. Plus 120v amps are a looot more efficient and smaller too.
