well right now i'm running just 5 speakers(1 mid, 5 tweeters) on a 2 channel amp. next i'll be running 10 mids on the same 2 channel amp. and i have NO idea what ohm i'm running or anything. lol. i don't think it's too safe, is it?

you can wire up as many as you want, but the ohm load has to be within the safe range of the amp.

that's the thing, i'm not sure what the OHM load is. lol. it's a mobile authority amp and it didn't come with a box. it was like $30 on ebay. not much about it. it's not a GREAT amp but it's what i have. but idk what he ohm load is.

Nothng in your sig tells us what amp your running for your highs but personally I will be running 12 speakers on a RF T800.4....1.3 ohms per channel and that amp does 200X4 @ 1ohm.

Not sure why your running 5 sets but 4 sets (2 sets per side) with those 4ohm speakers would get you either a 1ohm load or a safer for that amp 4ohm load. :8)

lol. well this is for my home. so i'm not worried about getting an amp. but i will update my sig so it will say what amp i'll be running for my mids and highs in my truck.

what do you suggest then?? i just want another 200W or 300W amp max. i don't wanna kill the speakers. lol

I would suggest buying a DMM. You would be amazed how many questions they answer.

Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's
