vexproductions Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 i have never had to do it b 4 so i am asking for help on how to calcuate a box that has 2 differnt depth's . The width of the box is 42 3/4" the height is 13" and the bottom depth is 21" and the top depth is 25" . So in short i am lost all measurements are internal .... please some one help....

Torres Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 if there's 2 different depths/widths/heights, then you more or less need to break it up into 2 different rectangles/squares. figure the volume of each, then add it together EDIT: picking the middle measurement wont always work. you got lucky in this case. as it can add too much or too little volume
