generally those are used to block bass but they go inline with your rca before the amp

Inline:

Instead of just pluging your RCA's in to the amp, put that between the RCA's and the amp.

I bought a set of those for a 70 hertz lowpass and it dulled down the sound of the output to my subs that I took it out within 5 minutes of trying it and was pissed that it attenuated my output so horribly.

I consider those a very,very last resort.

yes, use the lpf function of your amp or headunit, that is the simplest (and free) option

or get a processor/eq of some kind, look at audiocontrol or the rockford 360.2

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

Most amps have them, My Alpine MRP-m500 has one, the rockford 500 i used to have had one, acutally all sub amps ive had have had one.. and 99% of amps are should be 4 ohm stable..

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.
