Subs In An 08 Ml350

my friend just bought two alpine type e 10's and an alpine amp and wants to put them in his ml350.

we couldnt find anywhere online or otherwise that has ever done it before, or has any idea on how hard it would be...or if it would be just like basically any other setup.

hes got the stock head unit btw.

find a speaker wire and hi/lo it....should be pretty straight forward.

some mercedes use a fiberoptic system....im pretty sure that one does too

should be able to pick up on a speaker line between the amp and a speaker, or better yet, if it has a dedicated sub use that

may need something along the lines of an mtx re-q, some of those newer cars with the fancy systems lower subwoofer power relative to the rest of the system at high volume to keep from blowing it.

Meaning if you don't know what you're doing... Id leave it alone. I have one rich friend who added a system to a mercedes benz and fucked up his alarm system simply by trying to install some beat.
