downlow Posted March 25, 2009 Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 new hear, had my setup for awhile, want more out of it, currently is 2 12" hx2 powers in 4cu ft. ported box tuned to 32 hrtz. amp is a a2300hct, had it metered last year at 144.1 on music, ? is , is this box to small for these subs? would 5cu ft. be better? I'm not familiar with your amp. How many watts does it put out at 2 ohms, that is if they are dual 2 ohm subs correct? downlow Posted March 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 25, 2009 ya sry, subs are dual 2 ohm, each one is wired at 1 ohm, amp is audiobahn a2300hct, suppose to be 1200 watts rms each channel at 1 ohm. Sinosic Posted April 4, 2009 Report Share Posted April 4, 2009 if the ports are 1.25" wide x 11.5" tall x 11" long internal volume after port displacements your looking at 3.782 cuft @ 39.89hz. of the top of my head i would say 5 cuft @ 40hz with each port 2.5" wide will yeld more spl and still sound good on music.
