cnate777 Posted June 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2010 Ok, so today I finished welding the battery tray in.....just need to get goin on boxing it in.....I had a trunk kit in my basement for about 4 years so I used it up today just waiting on the rest of the Dynamat.....tomorrow I AM GOIN TO START ON THE MAIN AMP RACK....I tried video for the first time today not sure yet if it works....however if it does prepare a lot more..... cnate777 Posted June 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 9, 2010 OK, so the Dynamat was shipped yesterday......should be here in a couple days....I rethought my choice about the 3/8 aluminum so I ordered 1/2 got that yesterday.....got the stainless bolts......talked to DC but Rob is in Utah so I will be ordering the alts on Monday.....and tomorrow I am talking the burban over to fabricate, weld and finish the battery tray.......tomorrow we are boxing it in with 18 gauge sheet metal....i have been waiting on my buddy to free up becasue he has the mig and some tiny wire for it.....Oh, I almost forgot I ordered 100 1/0 gauge ring terminals got those today in the mail.....I have pics but I will wait til next time Rockford Fosgate Sundown Audio DC Power Inc XS Autometer Pioneer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cnate777 Posted June 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 So today I got the back of the truck all sealed up with Dynamat......cut, drilled all the holes, and installed all of the M8 1.25 stainless bolts and nuts for the power and ground distribution blocks......tomorrow I would like to start slinging some wire but we will see.....
