not necessarily, if the preout for the sub has left and right u might need both to get full voltage

but in this case it works like that

50hz 0db with bass boost set before gain was. But recently ive tried to reset my gain

with dmm and i do everything like it says to unhook subs put dmm's leads into speaker channels on amp and set dmm on ACV 200m

and then play the 50z tone and start tuning gain up and my dmm reads zero all the time?

Any reason why its doing this?

this happens sometimes for me...

first, use -3 or -6... u will be turnin the gain up a bit more, but its overlaps.. no music is recorded at that high of a level... so reset with -3 or -6..... hell RF recommends -5 or -10... i say thats a bit of a stretch imo...

and if urs is autoranging... select ac and the range by urself... and tighten the screws down an test the screw heads... sometimes that cures it

if ur not getting a reading, ur not doing it right... and u need to keep doing it til u get the right ac voltage without bass boost, its not needed at all on that amp

i dont know why u didnt get a reading, but keep tryin, u will... and dont be satisfied til you do

im not gonna guess cause im not sure... but just use the ysplitter... reset gains with -3 or -6db 50hz sine wave... or i can let u have my -5db sine wave which seems perfect... or u can create ur own with audacity

edit* for some reason ur amp might be getting double the voltage in the rcas now, so u need less gain and less boost

but thats a guess with little explanation, lol
