sphinxbccp Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 a installer at my work has a air ride kit he got from a costumer (costumer had it on his car... costumers wife hit a pot hole an somehow broke one of the bags... the rest is now the installers) he has the air lines, a tank, the compressor and the switch box.... i need to know how much some good bags are that would fit my blazer and what all id have to do to put it on.... this isnt a really sweet kit, it only has front an back controls but he'd sell me it for $100 (an we all have to start somewhere...) so i figured id ask the people thatd know best what i should do! thanks for your input! sully Posted April 11, 2009 Report Share Posted April 11, 2009 going cheap you can get a two link and a panhard bar for the rear, Slam Specialties RE7's will be fine back there front cups and Slam Specialties RE6's (RE7's if you can fit them without major modification. You can mini notch the rear without having to cut into the cab, if not you will only get about 5" s of drop before you hit the frame. You can get a bolt on notch or a weld in, if you are not looking to spend a lot of money you won't lay frame but you can get pretty close. if it is compressor, tank, valves and switchbox you are getting a good deal even if it is cheap equipment. KP Components might even make a bolt on kit for the rear, I think Suicide doors may as well.
