enemyofsilence
does it make a difference?? yes it does. to your wiring options. especially since you want to have four, the output will be different Edited April 11, 2009 by enemyofsilence Quote Team Bass-Hz
c0smo kram3r
yes it does. to your wiring options. especially since you want to have four, the output will be different exactly. If you want to wire 4 down to 2Ω, then get dual 1Ω subs. If you want to wire 4 down to 1Ω, then get dual 2Ω subs.

The 10k or the 5k? If 10k, then get dual 1Ω subs. Plus, how are you getting 3750? 10/4 = 2500... BassAddict32
which amp do you want? The 10k or the 5k? If 10k, then get dual 1Ω subs. well see, i wanted to wire them together so i have 15,000W all together. unless i can find a 14,000W or 15,000W amp. if not, then i'll just take the 10K. enemyofsilence
here you go amp Quote Team Bass-Hz
BassAddict32
here you go amp holy %*^! yes, i've seen that. but i REALLY don't want to spend $25,000 on an amp. that's why i thought it might a good idea to just run 2 amps because it'd be cheaper. OR!!!!!!!!! i can run two Hifonics XXVSampsons. they put out 8K each and i could just have 4K to each sub. like put 2 subs to each amp. BassAddict32
so which plan?? 2 8K watt amps and 2 subs going to each amp or running a 10K and 5K together and wiring all 4 to just 1 of them?? Boon
You can't run the 10k and 5k together. 2 8k's is a better option for you... and the Sampson doesn't make 8k unless you give it lots of voltage. Stetsom 7kd2 or DD Z2LV or Soundigital SD8000.1 or Stetsom 10k are all good options EDIT: For the money 4 SAZ-3000D's would give you a lot of power. BassAddict32
so 4 SAZ 3000 would give me 3K per sub. not bad. price maybe?? because i don't wanna spend like $10K on amps.
