ok obviously i started my post with the wrong line. im not here to say "oh i hate talking politics with you guys this is supposed to be a car audio site, blaah blaah blaah." No, what i meant to say is that its getting to the point where there are more and more people talking politics now a days. NOTHING bad said about the politics section of SMD.com. I think its awesome! Kinda like a big F U to the ones that say were just dumb kids who listen to music loud because we want to go deaf. It shows we arent a bunch of BASStards and we are aware of government and whats going on in the world.

and did anyone read what i said after that line?? Please keep the discussion going!

this whole thread allthough a great forum for peoples opinions on how our government is run, is very depressing because things have gotten this bad that we talk about it on a CAR AUDIO board!

No matter how much some of us might not agree with the war or how it was handled or how much you think you can blame the economy on BUSH, he was a good president in a bad time. In the end when things are not going well, you blame the person in charge. Its the nature of the beast. Even though the problems with our economy were set in motion long ago.

But OBAMA takes it to another level. Right now our country is being ran on money that does not exist!!!! Me being 22 and my future children are going to have to pay for the BILLIONS that was borrowed and then given out to things like GM, who squandered somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40 BILLON dollars right in front of our "government." THATS A FACT! Then what about the MILLIONS that goes to things like ACORN????? Whats ACORN you ask? Its a mostly Democratic group that is for REFORM, and by reform i mean Socialism. Since the Democrats came up with the TARP bill why not throw some of our tax money to themselves and not say anything about it. Sounds right, doesnt it?

What about the other small things you never heard about in the TARP bill? Another example is the portions of the bill that creates a "loop hole" of sorts for the government to digitize all medical records. Why do that? So you can have a government person at a desk somewhere in the world decide if you recieve treatment for whatever ails you, but only if it makes since financially to them. They take the years they think it will add on your life devide the price its going to cost for the treatment and then from there decide if insurance is going to cover it. Sounds great doesnt it? Someone that you will never meet that is not your doctor that has been seeing you for years making possibly a life and death decision for you based on $$$! No matter what you say about BUSH he did nothing like obama has in the past few months pushing our country towards socialism.

Now I have come to the realization that there is nothing i can do but hope. Hope that something happens to this country that will turn it around. It seems to me that since 9/11 politicians and other high ranking officials have had nothing on their mind but to line their pockets, and run this country into the ground. I am also confident that before i die there will be a revolution of some sort at our government. Thats my own personal belief, but just in the past few years Americans have become more and more angry with our government, and its going to come to a head sooner or later.

Read my mind... why can the government bail out car manufacturers.. and then tax the more wealthy to pay for the less wealthy like its a penalty or sumthin... there makin up money that doesnt exsist... but yet taxing the wealthy more cuz they make more and "given it to the poor." I mean you'd think if there gunna make money outta thin air and bail out the auto industry theyd bail out the poor... but still I wouldnt support that like the auto bailout.. If you fall u fall.. its on yourself to bring it back up and i know sometimes people are born into poverty but they can grow up and still make something out of themselves and chase there ambition of what they wanna do I mean the people that actually make good money and have good jobs worked there ass off for it.. jus the way it is... but then the poor want shit for nuttin.. ya gotta work for wat u want to make outta of ur life.. its called MOTIVATION!!!

thats jus my opinion tho..some will agree, some wont... but I come from a family where my parents were workin dead end jobs and gettin no where and livin in a house the size of my living room pretty much.. but then he got laid off and got the ambition to start his own business.. took a lil while but he put in alotta work and it paid off.. his business grew and with that came along more money.. jus a story to back up my response..
