I took my stock battery out and put in an optima. So i have this extra one, just wondering if my friend doesnt want to spend the money for a kinetik, would it be benificial to add my stocked battery in the trunk?

if its acid than no.

How do you mean? like something so it doesnt move? cuz i can build like a wood surround. But a link would be helpful.

lead acid batteries can spill and when bouncing around in the back not tied down it will.

I don't know of any links but lots of sites say to use a sealed case so nothing leaks.

Well i dont think it would move more than it did in the front of my car. It would be in a wooden surround screwed to a 100 lb box. I want to make some money, lol, the amp i was going to sell him just broke. SO, i gotta do something.

its only really safe to use seald batterys in the car. they leak gas.

ok then its a no go on the sale of the battery. I guess ill just have to wait for my brothers car to break again....
