Guest KyleCannon
Alright, So I got bored and decided to create something to help people out. I created a calculator that will do the following: - Find the RMS wattage from using voltage and resistance. - Find the wattage from using voltage, amperage and efficiency (efficiency can be left blank for 100%). - Find the voltage from watts and speaker resistance. I didn't really skin it or anything so it looks plain but the functionality is there. If you guys want me to add anything, say it in this post and give me the formula and what each variable means I will gladly implement it for everyone to use. Let me know what you guys think and of course, enjoy. http://kylecannon.net/audio_helper/ Edited April 18, 2009 by KyleCannon

loganuf
i took a look at it, looks good! only thing i can say to help u out is on finding volatge from watts (http://kylecannon.net/audio_helper/index/find_voltage_from_watts) it says "to get your voltage, please enter your voltage and amperage below. i think you meant to put watts in the place of the 2nd voltage, jst giving u a heads up Quote 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition: Alpine CDA 9883 2x 18" DC lvl 4 D2 10.7 cu ft box 33hz knu 1/0 wire amp: Kicker ZX2500.1 Kinetik

Dan.
Nice idea unfortunately it does not take into account impedance rise etc so does not give a true power figure unless you play into a fixed load. Also meter should be set to AC volts not AC current Edited April 19, 2009 by Dan. Quote Current Build Log [¦¦¦¦¦-----] 50% Complete
Guest KyleCannon
true that, but unless you have a formula i could use for that... there's nothing i can do haha. as for the other one thanks!
