brewer_brewer
no way. maybe if the extra 240 amp is an 18 volt alternator and the other is a 12 volt to run your car. brewer_brewer
how many batts do you have for the amp? if you run an 18 volt system and have alternators charging up to 20 volts you will fry that amp. it only has 18 volt input. you could do a 16 volt system and then charge your batts to 18 volts. Boon
I am using enersys powersafe batteries throughout (6V cells & 2V cells) Enersys make great batteries, I use them in my Street SPL car (Datasafe High discharge models) They like a high voltage though, I charge mine at 15.3v trickle and 17v boost charge... 10.x volts fo' life! brewer_brewer
yeah you could use the extra power that you would get from 18 volts. you don't even have the power that two of those need right now.
