Stock Fi Ssd + 1000 Watts Rms?

Im helping my cousin build his first system and he wants to get an Fi SSD 12, a Crunch GPV2000.1D will be feeding it 1000 watts rms at 2ohms. Was just wondering if it will be able to take that kind of power for extended periods of time without any added options. Im sure i will be able to talk him into getting the flat wind coil and maybe the BP power but just in case he dosent have enough money for those i wanted to know if the sub could take it. He likes to show off a lot and will probably be wangin his shit for long periods at a time so i dunno if the SSD will be able to take that kind of punishment.

it will take a clean 1000 rms easy.

i had one for months with no problems taking over 1000 CLEAN rms.

but as soon as it gets a clipped signal it gets hot quick.

so if its setup right then yes.

Make him save for the power handling options. It's well worth it especially if he's got a tendency to give the bass knob a good twisting...

turn the woofer on and while its pumpin make time go by reallly sloooooooooowwwwwww. then you can see how many times it cycles and then you can get an accurate reading on the fundamental building of the subwoofer when it was born. the woofers mom isnot just gonna want to give her babby up. your gonna need a distraction. light a fircrakcer and throw it.... she will look at it startletd and then thats the time when you snag the woofer from the mom and run. then meet up at the rondevious sight and go over the goods. split them up accordignly and your set for life.
