well this is my 1st ride an this will be my 1st awesome setup, its goin to be in a 96 chevy blazer, this is what i already

have ( ive started buyin everything)

but the complete setup will include

1 fully loaded fi btl 18 ( tuned to 32 )

1 200 amp alt (with big 3)

1 optima red top ( maybe 2)

all knukonkeptz wiring an fuses

kicker ks series door speakers ( not for sure)

schorche rcas ( was told do well on sundown amps)

well right now im broke an im not gettin a check this week cause my boss was sick last week but i will have some cash next friday :clapping:

but this build will be moving at a decent pace so i will keep you guys posted

thats some nice equipment is pretty much what i got. one thing u should look into is getting a d3100 or a big battery on the same lines because with on d3400 that i had under the hood wasnt cutting it. Once i put the d3100 the diffference was night and day. all of this and i also have a 250 amp alt.

thanks man i, i was told if i had a 200amp alt an one good batt up front i would be fine but i was pretty sure i should throw a batt in the back lol

if you can find a newer model chevy you can get a 145amp alternator for like $25 bucks at a local junkyard, i'm still in search for mine

check that link out.. all the info you need to find the right alternator.. i would know cause i also have a 96chevy blazer and it's a coincidence that you have the same avatar as me lol

that's the thing you don't need to get a newer blazer, newer style GM suv's pickups, vans, etc. alternators will bolt directly up to the 4.3L in your blazer, cause it's the same as mine i'm sure. soo no need for a newer blazer, just read the article and try and find the alternator in a junkyard somewhere
