We tested a single z15" in Gary's Altima sub forward ports to the driver's side. It easily hit 144s.

Correction.... Did a 145.1

If you build it, db's will come...

Competition Only Record Holder Trunk 0-500 watts---148.1

2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE

Currently Rebuilding....

My 150db Plus Trunk Build

I do box designs.

So these are rated at 1000w rms but took almost 7k on a burp. Does that mean they'll be good off a 1500d daily?

A 1500 set correctly (no clipping), no problem.

Edit: However a blown coil is not covered under warranty.

Would the 1200d be a better choice?

A 1200d still does 1500 watts. One Saz-1000 per sub or a Saz-2000 per pair of Z15's is a perfect match.

do you think 2 z15s could hit a 150 in a car. non walled with the box in the trunk but the seats down. im having a member of your team build the box for me. Its path2spl whos building it.

Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"
