I've been wanting to build a new box for my L5's and I was thinking about doing an enclosure which ports through the armrest. Does anyone have any experience with this type of an enclosure? Would the design have to be a bandpass? or could the subs be firing towards the rear of the vehicle? Bone Stock 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8
Boon Posted April 23, 2009 Report Posted April 23, 2009 I'm doing a similar thing right now, 2 DD3512's through the armrest in a BMW 5 series. We started by deadening the fuck out of the panel that the back seats cover up, then built a 'wall' in the trunk with a square hole for the box. Box slides in and bolts into place, everything fires forwards. It's a normal ported box. 10.x volts fo' life!

We should have the build section further broken down by vehicle type. Suv's, sedans, hatches etc.. That way you could go to a section and look through builds pertaining to your type of ride.
