ChiTownTBird312
would the AQ 1200D be a good combo with two 12" D2 L7's? Quote Matt W. 1996 Thunderbird LX Sport 4.6 new system soon...still deciding on what to get.

OBI
no youll be underpowering them. X2 you'll need at least 1500 watts for them, try the ZX 1500 it perfect for those subs, and I got mine brand new for 400 bones.
Guest
itll be fine. doesnt matter if you are underpowering them. 300w more will not make a difference.

True, not saying your wrong but Im just saying for like $20-60 more he could be giving them RMS plus ~200 watts more, depending on the birthsheet. Damn Loganuf you posted that as I was typing it almost word for word! Goes to show how good this forum is! Boon
Not with D2 L7's, with them you can only wire to 0.5 or 2 ohms, both of which are poor options on the AQ. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
