ChevyBoy
heat it used to remove the moisture and water/whatever they want to spray on there. helps it dry a little faster, that way you can work with the bubbles that instant rather than letting it dry naturally and having bubbles up the ass. Audiobahnaholic
When i tinted mine I found it easiest to tint the rear three (2.5%). Backglass is a bi*ch and the Beretta's have huge back windows. Then I took the 2 door glasses out of the car, tinted them (35%), let it dry, and put them back in the door. Seemed way easier than messing with molding and getting it lined up and things. Plus it takes 10 minutes to remove the windows. No...... Heat is used to shrink tint, on both the inside and out. Using heat would actually make removing water harder.

BassJunkie
Whats everyones opinion on the walmart window tint, I don't plan on having this car for more than a year or two, so I don't need anything like REALLY REALLY REALLY good, I just dont want to have to replace it every 6 months. 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. ChevyBoy
No...... Heat is used to shrink tint, on both the inside and out. Using heat would actually make removing water harder. so if it shrunk it, then it wouldnt fit your window because its too small then.... hmmm.
