bennett15 Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Hey guys im wondering how many batts i would need an what sizes? i have stock alt which does 130 amps will be doing big 3 in 2/0 gauge when i get the batts but when idling or in park i have massive voltage drop prob to around 9v! i know its bad but when driving it wont get past 12 i was thinking about getting a kinetic HC600 system is in my sig if that matters a whole lot. Nightshade Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 For your amp that you have I'd reccomend at least a XS Power D1200. They're not that expensive and will do tons of power for you in the stock battery location of your ride, but will be a much better source of power if you put it within 18" of your amp.
