what are your plans for the third row under teh box? Where you sounddeadened, What else are you going to do to it? just throw the box over it?

and what are your plans for the batteries? Under the seats now, is that what you meant?

ok your the second person to tell me to add some bracing......its buggin me now....so what would a guy recomend doing to it to make it more sturdy.....hopefully something easy...not to good workin with wood....and thanks yeah i know the small town of cresco will be talkin bout it for years ahahaha.....its so small....i think the biggest system around here that i know off is 4 12s.....it gets loud but i want LOUD...as in were ur ears hurt lol!

Bracing this box is easy. Assuming your box is actually 45 wide, 35 long, and 23 tall and have 3/4" stock. Just have 4 more 3/4" dowels cut for the sides (2 x 43.5", but MEASURE THE BOX FIRST!) and front/back (2 x 33.5"). Then you just slip them all into the box diagonally through one of the sub holes. Measure and drill small pilot holes for your screws, and the rest is cake.

You are going to want to attach the braces where they can be tied to the other braces where they intersect. The simple act of tying those braces in the middle will make your box very strong; which is exactly what you need. Those 3 BTLs are going to try to cram lots of air through that port, so brace now, bang harder later.

Also, it might seem obvous, but make sure your braces leave enough space to mount the subs. Post any questions, bro..

thanks,.....i am going to cut a peice of mdf out and put it above it so its all smooth...so the box does not sit wierd. as for the batts they dont fit under the seats so i am going to put them under the explorer were the spare tire is.

thanks for the help ill keep that in mind...just to let all ya know they will be BL's fully loaded not BTLs " i only wish lol"
