you should look into doing big 3

and look into an MLA module which will boost your stock alternator up from say 14 volts to 15

( didnt read post above involving MLA )

Well I looked into it and plan on it but I looked at my alternator and it has some sort of plug type thing.....not sure how to do it with those. I doubt I am even getting 14v right now, probably more around 13

I know when I check right at the battery it is around 12.3v

I don't know where to check it at though...

That 12.3v is ur battery resting voltage. Check ur voltage again with the car on. And that battery is just auto zones distinction between there batterys. Its there gold line which has a 3 year free replacement warrenty.

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

I believe I have tested it before while it was running but I will check again when I get the truck back from the AC shop. Should be done tomorrow.

Ok I got my stinger meter today and hooked it up. First time is said "LO" so I got my DMM out and adjusted it as close as I could get it really quick and then went to test one more time and DMM wouldn't come on. Anyways I am idleing at 13.7-13.8 with music on WITHOUT my sundown 1200d but I am still running my Kenwood 280 (fused to 25amp). I can rev up some and get it to 13.9 but that is max.

Got my AC fixed also. I only notice a .1v-.2v drop when running max ac.

Ok PowerMaster got back with me and said the only alt that they have for my truck is the 170amp which is $435 + shipping. So I ditched that idea....

Would a 120amp alternator be ok or know of an alternator I can get for around $200-250 that puts out more power?

I would contact one of the Alternator Guys on here, I.E. Mechman, Rob from DC, I am sure one of these guys have what you are looking for, and for a good price.
