Gregggg
Which of these amps do you guys prefer? Which is more reliable? (Feedback plz) Which one will stand a better chance of not overheating? Because I have to drive long distance drives as long as 8 hour drive and I don't want it to overheat. P.S. they will be powering 2 Type R's at 2 ohms. jsmoke222000
The kicker amp will be a great fit & will deliver much more power. They can take alot of abuse! Jared Nixon A.K.A. 07sOnAtA sp.ed
Any Alpine M1000 thoughts? Feedback?yeah, its a good amp, but the kicker is better. The kicker will def do alil more then then the alpine, but they both do more then rated power. i think the freq response on the alpine will be better on the apline, but for the most part, you won't be able to tell. Its up to you. Mix and match brands, or run all of the same... it doesnt matter, but i would get the cheaper one, or the one w/ a warranty if you dont have a electrical system. CaptainzPlanetz
I have a ZX.1500 and I run it for long trips at full volume and if anything it gets a little warm, and all I have is an optima battery and the big 3 done so far. Plus the birth sheet was about 300 watts over the rated power. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ Guest KyleCannon
I had the Alpine MRP-M1000 if you don't have a good electrical system the amp will overheat constantly.... I switched to a P1000 because of this. So, go with kicker
