liftedranger08 Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 I just bought a level 4 12 like 2 weeks ago. I love it. It is amazing. I have it in a 1.7 cubic ft box tuned to 33 Hz. It is ran off of a Elemental Design nine.1 amp. It gets warm really quick. Is this usual?. My gain between 1/4 and 1/2 on the amp. To ear, it does not sound distorted. I can play it for like 5 mins all the way up and the DC letters on the dust cap are really hot. Im getting ready to upgrade my electrical with 2 powermaster d925s and 300 amp alt. For now, i just dont turn it up full tilt.
