2 18's Walled

Whats up everyone i just had a quick question. I always kinda lurk over here, im on roe but i love this site, people seem more helpful and more laid back.

Anyway right now i have an 05 colorado crew cab with 2 separate boxes bolted together.. walled and 2 18" hdc3's powered off an MA P3000.1

Long story short i saw that one s10 build with the 4 15's, then the 5 15's and love it. And i really want to just bite the bullet and build inside my truck so i can fit a few more cubes.

Right now each box i have is 20" Deep, 21"Wide and 36" Tall, and i have around 90 square inches of port area per box... so about 5 cubes after displacement.

On to my question, How do i figure out port area and depth/cubes when i build this new box? i assume a ton of glue and some 2x2's for bracing, but i think building it deeper and taller will not only allow me to angle the face of the box for more seat room but i can get about 15 cubes or so.

I know this is confusing but i really want to start on this build tomorrow since im off for a week.

Are you trying to improve your (2) 18's setup, or are you rebuilding to go with something else?

What are you doing for ports right now? 90-100 sqin is plenty of port per 18. . .

Yeah im just trying to improve my set up. I know i can hit way lower, it seems that anything under 30hz just lacks.. i heard a pair of 15s in a clam shell that killed the lows..

Anyway, i was hoping to just get a tad louder.. lower, and add an mla module as well.

I just dont know how to figure out my port and cubes on this new box... i planned on building the bottom then the back wall and goin from there....

Like i said, i got a few extra bucks and just tryn to get a little louder.
