Crump
I want a new box so i can see what this sub can really do with a ton of air and a big port The box's dems are Length= 32 Height= 15 Depth= 18 Port width= 3.5 Port Length= 36.75 Tuned to about 32 htz After double baffle, woofer displacement, i sit at about 2.6 feet cubed. 47.25 square inches of port So thats about 18 square inches of port per cube after displacement. Before displacements its 16 per cube. I dont know which to go by. I am thinking about trying those speaker pins through the back of the box, with a stone port and black carpet on the box. For better air flow, ill round the inner port and layer some resin inside. Can anyone link me for those speaker pins? Funny you should say that about the kerf i have a friend who wants me to kerf him a flared port, and i was like i know what it is. HOWEVER, how about a regular easy one? tibs
im not sure. my last box i just ran the wire through a hole in the box. but my new build for 8 twelves im thinking of bolts so i can change from .5 ohm load to 2 ohm load. so ima hunt around for some brass or copper bolts.
