Question About Compenent Systems

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if you have a component system for instance the rockford t162s 6 1/2 and it states 4 ohm is that for the tweet and the woofer together or is each 4 ohms. Pretty much i wanna know if the amp powering them will see a 4ohm load or 2 ohm load per channel, thx.

The 4 ohm impedance rating is for the set with the included crossover connected to them. The actual impedance of each seperate driver can vary from set to set. You can check the impedance of them with a DMM. ;)
