So, here is the latest design and build. He is putting on primer tonight and will be painting the box tomorrow, so I will hopefully get some vids tomorrow evening. Box: ~7 ft^3 tuned to 34hz. The woofers might suck all the air out your lungs (if you stand too close) When the monster hums

We decided to go subs back/port back after a lot of discussing it. Last build was subs up/port back, and I had a build prior subs back/port back and think it sounded a bit better that way. cunokyle Posted August 16, 2009 Author Report Posted August 16, 2009 Been busy moving and stuff lately so haven't been able to get back to this. He hit a 147.1 at 45hz with the set-up which I feel is very respectable for the amp. I think with a better amp his numbers would be a bit higher as the amp is set to run at 2200watts and is really putting out a bit under 900watts after impedance rise (1.4 ohms). The big number for the day was a 153.x in a Blazer with a couple of the Orion HCCA-25001 amps on a couple of Orion HCCA 12s. The build was crazy and the system was loud. The guy was running a Sony Xplod head unit! The woofers might suck all the air out your lungs (if you stand too close) When the monster hums
