CR Boom
each sub will be getting 4ohm power, divided by the number of subs... IE 1000@4ohm and 2 subs = 500 per sub. fischy fisch
wire them down to 1 ohm(if the amp can handle 1 ohm) and you will get more power but still only half to easch sub Quote lol. but i haven't and i don't plan on it. plus i'd probably miss and hit her belly button or her ear or something. lol. ChiTownTBird312
Why wire them to one ohm if the amp puts out rated power at four ohms? That's just putting unneccessary strain on the electrical. Quote Matt W. 1996 Thunderbird LX Sport 4.6 new system soon...still deciding on what to get. BrownRice
1000 watts...and that's what it's meant to put out. I'm not gonna wireit to one ohm. And if I remember correctly I read somewhere that they are underrated. I don't like the amp at all personally and don't think it's that great so its 1000 at 1 or 4 ohm? Guest
the alpine amps give out the same power at 2 and 4 ohms iirc. not 1 ohm stable.
