_AnGeL_ Posted June 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 3, 2009 damn army them mids n highs soundin sweet as hell man, how much did ur mids n highs setup run ya? those sound better than my kickers by far, n sounds like its got good midbass go with a PA style speaker and bullet tweeter set up, if done right they sound good and loud as fuck. thacarter546 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Share Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) I think youd be surprised how loud a nice large format tweeter can get and if properly aimed and adjusted it will sound 1000x better than bullets or pro audio tweets. These are what I am running on a college budget with infinity kappa mids (from a 60.9cs tweets didnt even make it a week! Mids are super beefy, around 5 pounds a piece for a 6.5 so I am still running them oh well live and learn) http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=8500 Sound amazing. They are getting around 65-70 watts a piece and are loud and clean. Best 75 bucks Ive ever spent on highs. Ohh and if you go with these keep in mind you are conna have to cut a good 5" hole wherever you mount them. They are massive.
