97maxima Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 with port up using pvc you will not get the length you need for that 30hz. its not to late to go slot with it. the oly other way i see it working is using elbows on the pipe, idk how much it would effect things tho. hell people use a 90 degree angle with a slot but its a much larger surface . 97maxima Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 eeehhh, its even less port, you would make tuning but it would be not enough port area. if you went port forward you could do a interchangable slot port plate to change from daily to comp.it would not requre much modification to the enclosure as it stands now.you just need some t nuts and weather stripping American Bass*DC Power

97maxima Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 ok guys, with the box's dimensions like this so 46.25h 31.5w 13d that comes to 9 cubes right.. ok now for the ports... working with PVC ports 3 ports with a radius of 1.53125 at 6.15" will give me 135 sq inches of port with a tuning freq of 30...4 ports with a radius of 1.53125 at 4" will give me 117 sq inches of port with a tuning freq of 41.. any one able to check the math on that for me? im just double checking everything that my dad has done, because i know hes super smart but its always nice to check 21 sq in of port American Bass*DC Power
