Repairing & Bonding Plastic

Recommended Posts

just to get this right in my head. Basically what I can do is make a fiberglass pod then use the XPSAP as an adhesive to attach to the plastic then use it to fill and blend in the pod, right?

Yes.

You need to prep the plastic correctly, but that will work. Has worked.

i have that plastic adhesion promotor spray by SEM, but i used it when we were painting the plastic. Would I still need to use it when bonding the plastic?

Care to elaborate?

Cause you lost me.

And i have received a PM that there are some dead links. I will fix them soon.

is there a product for plastic that sands easy(just for top coat)? cause this plastic weld stuff is very tiring at times without a d/a. I would use bodyfiller but its terrible to use on plastic, cracks will happen no matter what :(.
